Allison Dolan, RN

Allison was my labor and delivery nurse; from the second she came in, she always knew exactly what to say to make me feel better about this life-changing experience that my husband and I were about to go through. With all the nervousness I felt, she held my hand through it all and was sure to explain everything to me and didn’t leave anything out.

Even after leaving labor and delivery and moving to the postpartum unit, she came to visit my new baby and me to see how we were doing. Allison is the most supportive, caring, and dedicated nurse I have ever met in my life.

Ever since I left the hospital, I have made it a point to let them know how amazing my nurse was. I will absolutely never forget the change she made in my birth story and in my life!

Allison went above and beyond. She made me feel safe and secure, and she made sure that I had everything I needed. I went in sooner than expected to be induced due to gestational hypertension. This is my first baby, so I was terrified. Allison, from the start, helped me feel better about everything. She was very kind and made sure I was comfortable. I’ve never had a nurse like her. She was very attentive.

She was there helping me through all the scary parts. I was so scared to get the epidural even though I wanted it. She helped me stay calm through it.

I was not progressing the time I was there. The whole time, I was sitting at 3-4 cm dilated even after having my water broken. The next morning, I was told it was best to do a C-section, and Allison helped me to feel calmer with this as well, even though I was freaking out.

I truly mean it when I say she’s the best nurse I’ve ever had. She was sweet to my family as well, and I’ll never forget her. I am so lucky and blessed that she was there for me during one of the scariest times of my life. I can’t thank her enough.
