Allison took the very best care of my daughter, A, in the neonatal intensive care unit. She was very compassionate and empathetic towards us while our family went through the worst time of our lives. She made beautiful collages to celebrate my baby's milestones. She always celebrated A's wins (even the tiny ones). Allison fought right along with us. When the time came for my baby to go, she offered to hold her while she passed away if I was too scared to do so. Allison was more than just a nurse to us. She was very professional and emotionally supportive. She even came in on her day off to help watch my toddler girls as my baby passed away. A's father and I are beyond grateful and will be for the rest of our lives. She took care of our daughter and gave her the love and dignity she deserved. We love you, Allison, and all of the nurses and doctors at Swedish Medical Center - First Hill. You have an exceptional team over there, and I appreciate everything you did to accommodate us, especially the care you gave to our sweet A.
