On my second day of staying in the psychiatric unit, Alla Komisarchik was my nurse. From the beginning, she was very attentive and gentle to all the patients, including me. When it came time to share how I got in there, she compassionately listened to my long story, validated me, and calmed me down about my worries and insecurities. She made me feel important and told me I would have a bright future ahead, and it did help. Throughout my time there, she remained attentive to all my needs and spoke gently and with care, even though the unit is not necessarily the place where you see laughter. My experience was wonderful, and Allah is a big part of it. I now have a new, beautiful perspective on life. Thank you for changing my life. She also reminded me of my mom, who is no longer with us; her understanding approach to all made it not only bearable but also pleasant and promising for the future.
