Alix was not only professional in every way for a young nurse, but her bedside manner and her concern for my husband were outstanding. She went above and beyond and never left his room until she was able to get his pain under control. We had no idea what was wrong, and he continued to get worse. You could not only see her concern, but she was also open and honest with us about her concerns. She kept us up to date every step of the way. Alix personally went with us to the operating room. She stopped by to see if I needed anything while I waited for him to come out of surgery. She was also waiting for us when we came back to his room. She even stayed after her shift to make sure that my husband was comfortable before she left. I could go on and on about her. In my eyes, she should be the nurse of the year!
