Alison demonstrated exceptional leadership and clinical expertise, responding to eight RRT activations, including code strokes and a code blue in the OR. These events required rapid movement across the organization, including the 7th Avenue Lab, Med Surg 5, 4W, the OR, and the PCU.
Throughout each call, she provided steadfast support to nurses, providers, and patients, bringing knowledge, efficiency, and a calm, collaborative communication style that elevated team performance during high-acuity situations.
In addition to managing these system-wide emergencies, Alison continued to support ICU and PCU operations, collaborated on patient flow, provided staff breaks, and completed all assigned charge responsibilities. Her adaptability and commitment to excellence ensured safe, coordinated care across multiple units.
