Having collaborated with Alisha over time in providing care to many of our participants at TLH, I have consistently witnessed her dedication, compassion, and professionalism. Alisha goes above and beyond in her role, never hesitating to make home visits or phone calls, even when her schedule is already full.

She primarily serves participants in one of our most outlying areas, an area that presents significant socioeconomic challenges and has limited community resources. Despite these difficulties, Alisha begins her days with home visits, working her way into Jonesboro, ensuring that each participant receives the highest level of care.

While Alisha is an exceptional nurse with a strong clinical skill set, what truly sets her apart is the heart and dedication she brings to her work. She takes the time to celebrate participants' birthdays, remembers their favorite treats, and ensures they have the personal care items they enjoy, such as special shampoos or body washes. She fills in the gaps for those who have no one else to show them kindness, dignity, and grace, often without recognition and with great humility. Her visits go beyond routine assessments; they reflect the core values of compassionate care that we uphold as an organization.

Additionally, Alisha is a strong advocate for her participants. She is unwavering in her commitment to ensuring they understand the impact of their healthcare decisions and the importance of following medical guidance. She speaks up when she believes improvements can be made within our organization and engages with people in a genuine, sincere manner.
