Aliah Zurita, ADN, RN

I have been a practicing nurse for 46 years. At Copley, 31 years. All staff on Med Surg need to be applauded, but Aliah Zurita stands out. No one likes to be in a hospital with all the comforts of home stripped away, yet this superstar made my stay comfortable and restful, and we had some great laughs. Her clinical expertise stands out, and her competency is admired. But it was her warm assurance and care that reached my heart. She made me feel valued, respected and cared for. She honored my privacy and yet treated me like family. It's not always the medical care that stands out but the care for the spirit, soul, and mind that encompasses an outstanding nurse. This nurse needs to be recognized for her care of the whole human. She is a valuable asset to the RCMC family.
