Alfonso Crane

Alfonso is a bright student with an outstanding nursing career ahead of him. He is easy to collaborate with and is very approachable. Nursing school is challenging, and yet he finds time to participate in volunteering events. Alfonso's academic and volunteering efforts make him the well-rounded nurse healthcare needs. He will be the nurse that everyone seeks for help.

Alfonso was signing students up as bone marrow transplant donors. Initially, I was too nervous about the procedure. He described the process and did not manipulate me or make me feel guilty for saying no. A genuine demeanor about Alfonso made me say yes to being a donor. Alfonso was respectful of my autonomy which is a hallmark of nursing practice. His actions today can significantly impact patients in need of bone marrow transplants and their families!
