I would like to express my deepest gratitude and thanks to Alexis Walker for the care and treatment I received from her the night/morning of Wednesday. I presented to the ED in the early morning, around 1 am, with severe RUQ Abdominal Pain and vomiting blood. Immediately upon my arrival, I was triaged and taken to an ER Room, at which point Alexis was waiting for me in the room.

Alexis immediately did a nursing assessment, assessed my pain level, accessed my Mediport for IV access, drew labs, and proceeded to inform the physician of my case. Throughout my entire time in the ED prior to being admitted to inpatient status, Alexis demonstrated true compassion, concern, empathy, and continuously reassessed my pain and comfort! As a nursing professional myself with over 22 years of experience in the ER, Alexis is exactly the kind of nurse, clinician, and advocate I want and would trust her to care for my entire family!
