I had an issue with my antidepressant not being covered by my insurance, and it was going to cost me $700 per month, which I could not afford. I expressed to Alexis that I was struggling with my mental health without my medication and really needed a prior authorization as soon as possible so my insurance would pay for it.

She immediately called my insurance company, and after being told that the prior authorization would not go through for at least three business days, even though it was already Thursday, she continued to contact them until they approved it.

She then called my pharmacy to confirm the prior authorization had gone through and discovered they had the incorrect insurance information on file. She provided the correct information and handled all of this for me until she knew for certain that my medication would be covered so I could receive the treatment I needed to maintain my mental health.

I am so incredibly grateful that she went above and beyond for me and recognized just how badly I needed my medication.
