Alexis is wonderful; she interacts appropriately with patients and is cautious, asking the right questions. If she is unsure, she always asks or seeks me out if I'm not right there. I have had several patients rave about her; one even asked me to nominate her for "some type of award" because she is so great. I did give that patient the DAISY information and Val Sauda's email, as I know Husson does something with the student DAISY, so I am really hoping she nominates her!

Alexis is very intuitive and has picked up on things I wouldn't expect her to. She is truly a wonderful student, and I am very happy to work with her. She goes with the flow, she stays calm and appropriate all the time. She mentioned that one day, during a particularly crazy day with many things going wrong, she was shocked by how "calm and collected" I remained, and I told her there's no point in panicking; that will only add to the heightened state. And she has done just that. I would totally keep her as my student forever if I could! If there's a way to highlight her demeanor and excellent bedside manner, please do so because she deserves it! I can't wait to see where she goes in the future!
