My 87-year-old mother was recently hospitalized with a serious new diagnosis of CHF and needing an aortic valve replacement. She has previously been hospitalized at JCL HonorHealth and we have always been pleased with the good care. This time we had a nurse we would like to recognize, Alex. Alex went above and beyond in providing exceptional, compassionate care. Besides her excellent clinical skills, she provided education in helping my mother understand her diagnosis and helped in communication/coordination with the medical team for her plan of care. She showed great caring, kindness, and a nice sense of humor to my mother, her husband, and our family. We are grateful for the care she provided and how she helped make a difficult time easier for us all.
