*****

I have the pleasure of working alongside Alexandria, who serves as the lead nurse overseeing the pharmacy and pill rooms. I work closely with her and have had the opportunity to observe her professionalism, dedication, and strong leadership within the correctional setting.

Alexandria Butler consistently demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety. She takes the initiative to review patients' medications, vitals, and labs and completes a thorough medication reconciliation, working with all the providers at the facility to produce the best treatment plans for our patients. If needed, she will always take the time to sit down with our patients and counsel them on the importance of medication adherence, possible side effects, and disease education.

She approaches every responsibility with reliability and integrity, ensuring pharmacy operations run efficiently and in full compliance with established standards. Her ability to coordinate workflow, manage inventory, and support both providers and nursing staff makes her an invaluable member of the team. She excels in inventory management, utilizing comprehensive Excel tracking tools to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.

Alexandria Butler is highly proactive; she identifies issues quickly and provides effective solutions without delay. For example, upon recognizing that the pill room was not meeting expected standards, she took the initiative to create training and education for the pill room nurses and developed a detailed checklist for nursing staff to use, which brought the area back into compliance. She also collaborates closely with me and on-site leadership to implement improvement plans that enhance workflow and operational consistency.

In addition to her technical expertise, Alexandria Butler brings a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset to her work. She communicates clearly, responds promptly to concerns, and approaches challenges with professionalism and composure. With Ms. Butler on the team, I can trust that issues will be addressed quickly and effectively. She is consistently responsive and dependable across email, phone, and chat, and no matter how I reach out, I can count on her to follow through.

Her initiative, reliability, and strong work ethic speak highly of her suitability for any role she chooses to pursue.  Her commitment to serving our patient population is evident in all aspects of her work.
