Being diagnosed with cancer is never easy, and my journey began when I was admitted. The next morning, Alex became my nurse - and from that moment forward, she made an incredible difference in my care.

For several days, Alex was consistently there for my family and me. Whenever we had questions, she took the time to answer them thoroughly and patiently. Even though she had other patients, she made me feel like I was her only priority. She asked about my children to better understand my situation and provide personalized support.

During my first dose of chemotherapy, Alex explained every step of the process so I knew exactly what to expect. She took the time to review all medications and their purposes, ensuring I felt informed and reassured. What stood out most was that Alex saw me as a person - not just a task. She never rushed through her day and even stayed late to check on me before leaving. 

Alex's compassion and dedication set the tone for my cancer treatment in the most positive way possible. Her care made me feel safe, supported, and truly valued. I cannot thank her enough for the impact she had during one of the most challenging times of my life.
