I am currently incarcerated at the Wayne County Jail for a long, estimated approximate amount of time. and was admitted here at Reid Hospital in the middle of the night a couple of nights ago for what I found out to be sepsis from IV drug use and, unfortunately, not caring for my life outside of here whatsoever. As I'm laying here, accompanied by an officer, shackled to my hospital bed, typing my story, it's snowing outside of my window, and it's Thanksgiving Day.  I've been pretty rough since I arrived and when RN Alexander Reyes took over as my nurse, I immediately felt his genuine compassion for me as a patient, as well as a person. He has been the utmost caring and outgoingly kind nurse to me through my stay and has made me feel like a human being again, which is a feeling I haven't felt in a very, very long time. 

I'd like to nominate Nurse Reyes because he is genuinely an Extraordinary Nurse, who made me feel whole again in just the short amount of time I got to spend as his patient, and from what I've read about it, I truly believe he is a DAISY Nurse.
