Alex was so caring towards our sweet daughter. We definitely kept him on his feet, and he always met our needs with a smile. He answered all of our questions and found answers to the ones he didn't know. He always brought up our concerns during rounds that we were unable to attend and made sure they were addressed. He always checked in on us, asking about snacks and beverages, confidence levels with our care of her, and reassuring us by giving us additional instruction when needed, and kind words. He helped all the other nurses when they asked and was super respectful of things we deemed important.  

Alex made us feel heard and cared for. He made us feel like we were really doing what we could for our daughter and helped us build confidence in our care for her in preparation for discharge. We could tell he really cared for our daughter and gave us opportunities for caring for her, as well as relaxation and time to just spend with her. In a really seemingly stressful time in the CCU he stayed positive and gave us calm reassurance. It really meant a lot to us.
