Aimee is an amazing, well-educated nurse. She has such a big heart, not only for her patients, but for her fellow co-workers as well. I recently was made aware of a particular instance in which she made a big difference in a patient's life. This patient fell on hard times and discussed with Aimee how she wasn't able to give her family a Christmas this year. Aimee not only brought gifts for the patient, but also for the patient's family.

This act of kindness, especially around the holidays, brought this patient to tears. Aimee always makes acts of kindness to those around her. I have heard of a staff member who lost a family member, and Aimee brought that staff member an orchid plant to cheer her up. I also heard that she was a part of another act of kindness to others in need. Aimee is always doing these wonderful acts of kindness without any praise. I just wanted her to know that we see how amazing and caring she is, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our team. As a community, we are so lucky to have her as part of our "village."
