Agnes received the DAISY Award following a nomination by a patient on the neuro intensive care Unit. The patient said he was fortunate to have Agnes as his nurse for four of his ten days on the unit. The patient says that he could tell Agnes was a different class of nurse from her approach, her attitude, and her detailed nature. He says that she seemed to know what he needed, ever before he did. Agnes also supported the patient when he wasn't sleeping and went out of her way to provide comfort and reassurance.
