Aggie walked into my delivery room, and my husband and I were ecstatic, immediately remembering how she played such a pivotal role in my first delivery.
I would like to take the time to honor a nurse who has truly gone above and beyond in her delivery of care for me, not just on one occasion, but twice. As a fellow RN, I can attest to the exceptional care and compassion that Aggie displays.
I welcomed my third son into the world. Thinking back, I fondly remember having Aggie as my nurse to help safely deliver my first VBAC baby. She went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and always remained consistent in making sure my birth plan was followed to the best of my caretaker's abilities. She encouraged me, motivated me, and most importantly, never left my side when I needed her.
Fast forward… Aggie walked into my delivery room, and my husband and I were ecstatic, immediately remembering how she played such a pivotal role in my first delivery. Achieving a VBAC birth is not easy, especially without a supportive care team. However, Aggie has always, without hesitation, supported me and reminded me of my dreams/goals to achieve what I desired for my birth. When my labor stalled, Aggie started her shift immediately, getting me into positions that helped to progress my labor, she advocated for all my needs, and brought me peace of mind that goes beyond saying. I was able to achieve my second VBAC successfully, with many thanks to the amazing nurse, who is Aggie. She portrays what it truly means to be an outstanding nurse. I am forever grateful for all that she has done for my family, and especially for helping bring two of my biggest blessings into the world.
