We were able to watch Aerin care for his other patients, and it was like each was an individual, and he gave the same compassionate care to all of them.
Aerin is consistently attentive, caring, and obviously giving the patients the best care. He is patient and instructive to us, the family members. We give him our greatest thanks for helping us through this difficult journey.

Aerin has made it a point that I understand everything concerning my health, and his bedside manner is unmatched. Aerin would always go above and beyond to make me comfortable without hesitation. Aerin always has an uplifting attitude, which made my day that much easier. Thank you, Aerin!
This nomination came from the family of a patient that Aerin cared for in January, 2025. The family met in person with our patient experience team, unit Leaders and me to speak about the experience that they had when their sister was admitted.
Her sister was a cancer patient and was admitted to 3T. As one would expect, the family was very scared and concerned for her health. During this meeting, they could not stop talking about Aerin. They went on to say: Aerin was the very first RN we encountered when we got to the Oncology unit. He was "beyond excellent". He introduced himself and was so personable.
"He was so wonderful, we wanted to give him something." He answered all of our questions and was so helpful with my sister. We were able to watch Aerin care for his other patients, and it was like each was an individual, and he gave the same compassionate care to all of them. When I asked to go over my sister's medications to compare to what was in the medical record, he was 'Johnny on the spot' and did it with me right away.
My sister was very focused on getting her medications on time, and Aerin always made sure that he did that. We loved the whiteboard, and Aerin used it to educate us and keep us informed of her care. Aerin took care of our sister for two days, and he made us feel so secure."
