Adrian rounds on his colleagues daily, ensuring they have adequate staffing and addressing any needs he can assist with. Beyond his sense of humor, Adrian truly cares for his nursing and ancillary staff, making sure they are not only clinically supported but also mentally and physically well. He consistently overextends himself for other departments while still making time to be present and available for his ED team. In emergency situations, Adrian never wavers. His composure, expertise, and steady leadership create an environment of confidence and trust for everyone around him.

With his leadership, Adrian has helped transform the Emergency Department culture—fostering positive attitudes, teamwork, and compassionate care that extend far beyond his immediate team. His influence is felt not just in how the unit performs, but in how people feel coming to work each day. Adrian’s contagious smile, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in wherever he’s needed—whether it means sending a nurse or stepping in as the nurse himself—speak volumes about his character. I have watched him grow from a brand-new nurse into an amazing manager and an even better leader. I’m proud to say he’s a product of me!
