Nurse Adrian has been the key to my recovery as I'm sure he is with many other patients who see him in Module 4 at the VA.
Nurse Adrian has been the key in my healing and recovery in regards to my amputated toes on my right foot. In May 2021, at a follow-up visit to my PCP from the Tripler ER, it was Nurse Adrian who knew immediately that I needed to be sent to Queens Hospital to avoid having my foot amputated. Thanks to his immediate referral to Queens, my foot was saved, but I did have two toes amputated. Following surgery, my family and I were doing the wound care at home until we had a follow-up wound care appointment with the VA two weeks post-surgery. Nurse Adrian was proactive in getting me on a wound vac, seeing me twice a week for wound care for the last 10 weeks. Nurse Adrian is professional and personable. He explains to me the plan for recovery, being very open and honest with my situation. He takes the time to explain not only to me but to fellow nurses. Nurse Adrian has been the key to my recovery as I'm sure he is with many other patients who see him in Module 4 at the VA. Nurse Adrian is definitely an asset to the VA Module 4. He would be an asset in any position. He has gone above and beyond for me and I believe he should be recognized for such commitment to those he serves.
