If it wasn't for his kindness I don't know if I could have done it and on reflection, I think that action has saved me.
I would love to nominate this man for an award as he is such a loving person. His compassion to care is marvelous. He comes to you with a big smile on his face regardless of the number of times you call him. I cannot explain this in words. He is just amazing. He made me feel like I am a hero and can fight my illness easily. He is full of knowledge and skills. He does everything perfectly. I will remember him for the rest of my life and pray for his bright future.

My dad has developed a very special bond with Adnan. He has looked after my dad very passionately and with full dedication. He has looked after my dad with great care and has always boosted his confidence. He is very kind, caring, and compassionate. He has made sure that my dad’s stay in the ICU has been as comfortable as possible. He has done everything he could to accommodate his needs, even if that meant providing a tv and DVDs. Every time we visited my dad, he has so many good things to say about Adnan. We are very grateful for the hard work and positive input he has provided. He has been an angel for my dad. Thank you for all that you’ve done.

Adnan is very dedicated to his job. He is very committed to his job, and he never wastes even a minute when his on shift. He is always on his feet to make people better. The way he speaks is impressive. I believe he is an asset to NHS. He gave me a new hope to live when I was upset and had lost all hope. He stood by my side and made me realise how strong I am.

When I arrived in ICU I was very frightened and felt weepy. Adnan put me at ease and managed to persuade me to use the CPAP hood. If it wasn't for his kindness I don't know if I could have done it and on reflection, I think that action has saved me. I am very grateful for all he has done for me and would like to make his line management aware.

I have recently moved to the UK. I visited St James Hospital for my first Antenatal work up. It was my first hospital visit in the UK. When I reached hospital, I was baffled because it was an entirely new world for me and I knew literally no one. I was looking for someone who could guide me. On top of that, I had a language barrier as well. Then I found this gentleman Adnan who was on the site for his shift. Luckily, he knew my language. He not only guided me the way to clinic but also went all the way to the clinic for me. His compassion was marvelous. I felt so confident and relieved. I have never seen such an empathetic Nurse before. I would love to meet him again on my future visits.
