Our family experienced a death yesterday in the ICU. Our family member was very, very ill with no positive results from the ICU care team and all the medicines that were administered. Adam handled our family with the utmost respect and care. He explained everything in great detail. He knew vitals and numbers without reading a chart and knew them from memory after only having our family member as a patient for a few hours. Adam was so kind and compassionate, and he helped us as our family member was dying. Even when his plate was completely full with other things to do, he showed us grace and patience and allowed us time to process and grieve the loss. Nobody wants to experience what we witnessed with our family member. Adam made it easier for all of us that day. He was exceptional.
