Adam C Wright, RN
I am recognizing Adam W because he provided me with exceptional and compassionate care during my stay in the hospital. I was blessed to have him as my nurse for several shifts.
Adam went above and beyond to make me and my family feel safe and cared for. He is very professional while at the same time very caring and compassionate.
I was diagnosed with adrenal cancer in 2023. Since that time, I’ve had numerous hospital admissions and not the best of luck with good nurses. I can honestly say I have not had a nurse who truly cares as Adam does.
He always made sure I had my pain medication when I needed it, and when I would ask for something else, whether it be a bed for my mom to stay or asking the doctor questions, he always came through.
When he told me he was going to go check on something, he always came back to give me an answer. He always took his time and answered my questions and never rushed out until my needs were met.
Adam truly made my hospital stay better. He is very knowledgeable about nursing and was always able to answer my questions.
He always made my family feel comfortable, answered their questions, and made them feel included in my care.
On my last day at the hospital, we were having difficulty getting a wheelchair to wheel me out to go home. Adam made sure within minutes that I had a wheelchair and was able to wheel me out.
He is truly a wonderful nurse and a wonderful human being. This is why I’m nominating him for the award. He truly deserves it!
