During my stay, Abi’s care of me and my newborn was amazing. I had a traumatic experience with induction, and not long after a C-section, my baby was taken to the NICU. Abi made sure I was kept up to date with his care while making sure she took care of my needs. During one of my routine vital checks, she noticed something off and started to ask me simple questions, such as if I knew where I was and if I knew why. Things I should have known but didn’t. She was quick to get help and determined what the issue was. The moment she stopped the magnesium drip, the intense heat in my body stopped. She and her team worked on stabilizing me. She even helped advocate for my son to be released from the NICU early. I believe that if it weren’t for her attentiveness and care for her patients, I wouldn’t be here today.
