Abigail Figarella, RN

I would like to nominate Abigail for her compassion and excellence. She is always willing to assist other nurses and techs with any task. On one occasion, the department was extremely busy, and every nurse had one or more critical patients, including Abigail, while multiple discharges were waiting. Abigail and I came up with a plan: I would remove IVs from those being discharged, she would give the paperwork, and then we would clean the rooms together. We did this for a long time, ensuring quicker discharges and better outcomes. Her compassion and willingness to help are a shining example for others to follow. She is a wonderful part of the SH Emergency Department, and we are extremely thankful for her hard work and dedication to her team.
