Abigail Embree, RN
Abby was an amazing nurse. I was in the hospital for eight days. Abby was kind and always made me feel safe. She also answered all of my questions. She checked on me a lot, knowing how scared I was.
I found out during my stay that I had a hole in my heart and had to have surgery. Abby knew I was very nervous and always made me feel better. When my blood pressure dropped, she made sure I received the necessary medications. She also always reassured me that I was in good hands and that I would be okay. She was so kind and never made me feel like I was a bother.
During her shifts, she would always check on me even when I did not push the call light. She always communicated with my family as well. She always had a smile on her face and is a caring soul. She always made me smile and laugh. She also made me feel safe and heard. She is a great asset to St. Mary's and all her patients.
