Abbey was my nurse when I arrived on the acute surgery floor during one of the most difficult moments of my life. That night, I underwent emergency surgery after losing both of my babies. I was experiencing overwhelming emotional grief along with significant physical pain, and Abbey stepped in and cared for every aspect of my healing. She supported me not only physically but emotionally, recognizing the trauma I was experiencing and responding with compassion, patience, and kindness.

Throughout the day, Abbey was there for every need with a calm smile and reassuring presence. Her energy brought a sense of peace into my room when everything felt chaotic and heavy. She anticipated my needs, managed my pain, and provided comfort in ways that went far beyond routine nursing care. In that moment, she was not only my nurse but also a steady source of support and strength when I needed it most.
