Abby was caring, took time to answer all questions, and attended to J's needs, even if it meant stopping what she was doing. She stopped with questions to assist getting J undressed and on the bedpan once it was obvious J couldn't walk even with assistance to the bathroom. She made sure that things were explained in ways that J could understand and made sure J was comfortable and received medication before going to MRI. She was friendly, caring, and, at the same time, professional.

My sister, J, was transferred from UH WEST HOSPITAL in Willoughby, OH. She needed a neurosurgeon consult for a parietal mass. Abby, her ER nurse, was very concerned and helpful, for J was very anxious. Abby was very calming and reassuring to J and me (J's sister).
