I would like to share a personal experience that reflects the exceptional care provided by Nurse Abeer. My father was previously a patient at this clinic, and during that time, he would always reassure me that I did not need to accompany him or miss my university classes. He insisted on going alone because he felt completely supported and understood, especially due to Nurse Abeer.
He often told me how she listened to him patiently, cared for him attentively, and spoke to him in Arabic, which made a significant difference in his comfort and confidence during his visits.
Later, I became a patient at the same clinic under the same doctor, and I experienced this care myself. I now go to my appointments feeling calm and reassured, knowing that Nurse Abeer will be there. Her presence creates a sense of ease, as she explains everything clearly and communicates in a way that makes me feel understood and respected.
One particular aspect that stands out to me is observing her while waiting. Many patients ask for her assistance and rely on her support. Despite the busy environment, she consistently demonstrates patience, professionalism, and kindness.
She moves between patients, equipment, and corridors tirelessly, yet maintains the same calm tone and respectful manner with everyone whether speaking with doctors, colleagues, patients, or even individuals who may be distressed or frustrated. She has a remarkable ability to calm people and ease tension in difficult moments.
Nurse Abeer embodies compassion, professionalism, and dedication in every interaction. She not only provides excellent clinical care but also creates a human connection that makes patients feel safe and valued. For these reasons, I truly believe she is a deserving recipient of the DAISY Award.
