I had been praying all the way to the hospital that God would send us the right people in our path to help bring comfort, healing, knowledge, and be a vessel for HIM. I have no doubt in my mind the HE sent us to BRG- BB ED, in Abbey's path for a reason. He was called back very quickly for labs, and that is when we met our angel, Abbey. She quickly realized that R was very sick. She made us as comfortable as possible with blankets and checked on us frequently until we were moved into the Emergency Room. At that point, her shift was ending. 

During the middle of the night, we were moved down the hall. Not completely sure why, but someone mentioned to help the nurses with assignments. Little did we realize how important the move really was. That morning, we discovered our sweet Abbey was our nurse again. She was excited to find out R was her patient for the day. Abbey treated us like family. Like she had known us forever, I will forever remember Abbey telling us that when she saw him, she just knew. Knew R was sick and needed help. I hope Abbey sees this and has no doubt that God has her in the right place. She is someone we will never forget. "God sends special angels into our lives, but sometimes he even sends them back again, if we forget to take notes the first time".
