We are profoundly grateful for the exceptional care, dedication, and compassion shown by the nurses and staff who supported my family and me throughout my liver transplant journey. Their attention to detail and unwavering commitment to patient care at every stage were truly remarkable.
I have been on the Transplant list for over 12 Years. This tremendous team took care of me from start to finish. The care they gave was the best. From transplant to my care team on the floor. Special thanks to Gina, Morgan, Carmen, Latora, and my other night patient care techs. I appreciate all of the care given to me.
We are profoundly grateful for the exceptional care, dedication, and compassion shown by the nurses and staff who supported my family and me throughout my liver transplant journey. Their attention to detail and unwavering commitment to patient care at every stage were truly remarkable. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, providing an unparalleled level of support that exceeded all expectations. Words cannot fully express the depth of my gratitude for each and every individual in the 11 City Transplant Surgery unit. Their professionalism, kindness, and positive spirit made an incredible difference in my experience. This extraordinary team deserves the highest recognition for their hard work, compassion, and dedication. Thank you so much!

My mom donated a kidney. I was very nervous that she would be under anesthesia, losing a kidney, and having a lot of pain. Each nurse was patient, gentle, incredibly kind and lovely. Every nurse who had my mom encouraged her and our family as well. They had her up walking, eating breakfast, while ensuring she was comfortable. We cannot thank them enough for their loving care that allowed my mom to relax and us to relax as well.

These nurses are real. Angles on earth. I can’t narrow it down to just one, because they all did so much to save my life. When I was down and thought I was not going to make it, Each and every nurse reassured me of how good I was doing in addition to their fine medical treatment. It was during the most embarrassing moments that they were always reassuring, and I can not thank them enough for all that they did for me right after my transplant surgery. By the time I left for rehab, I considered each and every nurse a part of my extended family. I don’t know, they do such a hard job without complaining.

My story is long, but the journey that led me to Penn Transplant is not. In the quick timing of receiving my kidney, the professionalism and care have been optimal. I have been a nurse for 25 years myself, and my life these past five years on the other side can be extremely challenging. I've recently experienced some not-so-excellent care, which is why I'm fortunate to be a nurse. Penn Transplant Nurses and staff have renewed my faith in healthcare. I felt Penn Transplant nurses have IT, and you all are my Rock Stars. I can't thank you all enough for saving my life. I am forever grateful.

I received a life-saving, life-changing kidney and pancreas transplant in May and was discharged in June. After waiting for five years you all were so kind to me. I want to thank you all for your care, love, kindness, and friendship throughout my stay. You all took such great care of me, and went above and beyond for me every day. Even when it came to making special ice for me, and keeping my drinks cold with a self-made cooler from a basin. I truly love you all, and you each were and are so special to me. There is nothing I can do or say to thank you enough. You helped me on this long journey. My family and I are eternally grateful. Especially my 7-year-old. Thank you so very, very much. I will never forget each and every one of you. Never!
