September 2025 Honoree
Vipin Viswanathan, Nursing
My son was shifted to the PICU after spending eight days in the Pediatric Medical ward. Vipin took care of him on the first day in the PICU. I noticed that he did his work in a very sincere, dedicated, and devoted manner.
Vipin was very systematic and organized, following all procedures carefully, from medication administration to changing diapers. He performed his duties calmly and quietly and refused to take any help from me, even though I was present most of the time in the PICU. On the contrary, he advised me to relax and take a rest.
I felt he was unique because he was continuously present, closely monitoring everything, and was never out of my sight or away from the room, except for a very short break. Even today, on the third day in PICU, while we are being shifted back to Pediatric Medical, I am happy to see that he is again the nurse caring for my son.
I truly appreciate his hard work, sincerity, and dedication. He provides clear explanations, shows patience, and has good listening skills.
