Stacey Koonce, RN

Stacey always goes above and beyond with all of our patients but most recently when a homeless mother of three small children came into the ER right before Christmas. Stacey tried her best to get the mother the meds she needed for her children and eventually was successful. She then took a collection of monetary donations from the staff and went to Wal-Mart to purchase formula, diapers, clothes, and toys so the children would have a Christmas and the baby would have food to eat. She went several times to meet the mom at the Salvation Army. Stacey is always a hard-working, compassionate nurse but this really showed how much she is willing to do for a family in need.
