يشرّفني أن أرشّح زميلتي الممرضة أمنية لجائزة ديزي المرموقة، وهي جائزة تستحقها عن جدارة واستحقاق تام. في وحدة العناية المركزة، حيث تكون الأيام ثقيلة والمواقف حرجة لا تحتمل أي تقصير، تتميز أمنية بشيء نادر وعميق لا يُوصف — قدرتها الفريدة على الجمع بين الكفاءة الاحترافية العالية والقلب الحنون المليء بالعطاء. هي لا تُمرّض مرضاها فحسب، بل تُعانقهم بروحها في أحلك لحظاتهم. لقد شهدت بنفسي كيف تجلس أمنية إلى جانب مريض لا يستطيع الكلام، فتمسك يده بحنان وتطمئنه بنظرة عينيها قبل أن تنطق بكلمة واحدة. رأيتها تبذل من وقتها وجهدها ما يتجاوز حدود الواجب المهني، وكأن كل مريض في رعايتها هو أحد أفراد عائلتها. ما يميز أمنية حقاً ليس فقط تميزها السريري وإتقانها لعملها، بل طريقتها الإنسانية في جعل كل مريض يشعر بأنه في مأمن وأنه ليس وحيداً في مواجهة مرضه. هي تزرع الأمل في أصعب الظروف، وتمنح الطمأنينة حين تشحّ الكلمات. أمنية تجسّد معنى التمريض في أسمى صوره وأرقى تجلياته. وأنا فخور بأن أكون زميلها يوماً بعد يوم، وأفخر أكثر بأن أكون من يرشحها لهذه الجائزة التي تعكس بحق ما تقدمه كل يوم بصمت واحترافية وحب حقيقي.

English Translation:

It is an honor to nominate my colleague, Nurse Omnia, for the prestigious DAISY Award—an honor she richly deserves. In the Intensive Care Unit, where days are heavy and situations are critical, leaving no room for error, Omnia stands out for a rare and profound quality: her unique ability to combine high professional competence with a compassionate, giving heart.

She does not merely care for her patients; she embraces them with her spirit during their darkest moments. I have personally witnessed Omnia sitting beside a non-verbal patient, tenderly holding their hand and offering reassurance through her gaze before even uttering a word. I have seen her dedicate time and effort far beyond the call of duty, treating every patient in her care as if they were a member of her own family.

What truly distinguishes Omnia is not only her clinical excellence and mastery of her craft, but her humane approach—making every patient feel safe and ensuring they do not face their illness alone. She instills hope in the most difficult circumstances and provides comfort when words fail. Omnia embodies the essence of nursing in its highest and noblest form.

I am proud to be her colleague day in and day out, and even prouder to nominate her for this award, which truly reflects the dedication, professionalism, and genuine love she demonstrates every single day.
