During my two-month stay at Latifa Hospital due to my diagnosis of placenta previa, I was going through a very difficult time, especially since I was new to the country and had no support other than my husband. My mental state was also affected because it was my first pregnancy, and I hadn't known or expected what would happen to me suddenly when I started bleeding. At first, I felt a thousand questions running through my mind.

During the days when Nurse Lyce Ann Bertiz cared for me, I felt comfortable. She was literally like an angel of mercy to a pregnant woman facing pregnancy complications and psychological stress. The nurse possessed all the qualities of a professional in terms of her character, behavior, and expertise in her field. She was very respectful, gentle, understanding, and committed to the monitoring and medication schedules. She worked like a bee to fulfill her duty.

Whenever I asked her a question about my condition, she would take the time to explain what was happening to me in a clear, scientific way, trying hard to calm my mind and reassure me. This behavior wasn't limited to me; I noticed she treated all the patients in the same way. I can say with complete confidence that she is the first nurse I have ever met, and I see in her the qualities of a true nurse. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for her efforts with me and her dedication to her work, and I hope she achieves the highest ranks in her career because she truly deserves the best
