Linda Kurian, Registered Nurse
I am currently recovering from ICD surgery, which has been a high-stress and physically taxing experience.
While many healthcare professionals are focused on the speed of tasks, Linda stands out for her unwavering commitment to doing things the “right way” rather than the fast way. There was a specific moment during my recovery where the complexity of my care felt overwhelming.
While most staff require constant reminders for medication and routine monitoring, Linda was consistently two steps ahead. Without a single prompt from me, she ensured my medication was administered on time and exactly and proactively completed critical diagnostic tests, including ECG and X-rays.
Her clinical precision gave me a sense of security that I hadn’t felt since my admission. She is the definition of a DAISY Nurse.
