Jamie Crow, RN

Recently my mother, sisters and myself arrived at the ICU with my step-father. My step-father was unresponsive and after confirming this, the family made the decision to remove his breathing tube and move forward with comfort care. Jamie Crow took excellent care of my step-father all day, and the family was equally cared for. Jamie explained everything so well, answered our questions and was genuinely concerned with our needs. We quickly formed a strong bond with her and she became the brightest spot during the worst day of our lives. More than anything she went above and beyond to provide my step-father with the most humane and gentle care. We could not imagine the experience without Jamie’s presence and guidance.

Jamie cared for my mom when she was admitted to the ICU at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She made her feel comfortable and went above and beyond with explaining everything that was going to her and us. When I was not able to be there, I knew mom was safe when she was with Jamie. Being in the medical field myself, we always have so many additional questions and Jamie was always so helpful and there for us with anything we needed. Thank you Jamie for being a wonderful nurse and even better human!
