Frezelle Domingo, affectionately known by her colleagues as "Pinky," is one of the most dedicated, hardworking, loyal, and committed nurses in our Operating Theatre. She consistently demonstrates exceptional professionalism, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to patient care.

Frezelle arrives early every morning to prepare not only her own operating room but also the supplies, instruments, and equipment for all operating rooms. She ensures that resources are organized and distributed fairly among all theatres, always considering the needs of the entire department rather than focusing only on her own cases. Her selflessness and commitment contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of the Operating Theatre.

Despite her heavy workload, she has never complained. She always puts the interests of the department, her colleagues, and, most importantly, the patients before herself. Her positive attitude and willingness to support others make her a valued and respected member of the team.

Frezelle frequently assists Dr. Walied Radwan and Dr. Guido, both of whom have expressed their appreciation for her outstanding performance. Dr. Walied has particularly commended her excellent preparation of equipment and supplies, her efficiency, and her ability to maintain a seamless workflow throughout the day. Thanks to her organization and dedication, there are no unnecessary delays between procedures, allowing surgical lists to run efficiently from the first case until the last.

One remarkable quality that sets Frezelle apart is her extraordinary commitment. I have rarely seen her take an adequate break between cases. She willingly extends her duty hours whenever required without complaint and never asks for relief if her operating room cases are still ongoing. She remains with her patients and surgical team until the final procedure has been safely completed.

One incident truly reflects her dedication. After completing an extended shift, she developed blurred vision. She sought medical attention and was advised to undergo urgent laser eye treatment, which she had that same evening. Despite this, she did not request sick leave. Understanding that the department had limited staff to cover the following day's schedule, she reported back to work the very next day to support her colleagues and ensure patient care was not compromised.

Frezelle's extraordinary dedication, compassion, teamwork, selflessness, and commitment to excellence embody the true spirit of the DAISY Award. She consistently goes above and beyond her duties, inspiring everyone around her through her professionalism and unwavering devotion to patient care.

She is truly deserving of this recognition.

Thank you, Freszelle, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
