Professor Choyce is a highly impactful nursing educator known for her commitment to hands-on, experiential learning. She designed a unique instructional model that integrates simulation, clinical practice, and a 24/7 accessible TEAMS platform used across campuses. Her innovative teaching style emphasizes critical thinking, real-time feedback, and student support, particularly in Level 3 courses like Mental Health, Pediatrics, and OB Health.
Managing 12 cohorts across 4 campuses and contributing to the VN program, Professor Choyce demonstrates exceptional dedication. Her approach has notably helped students overcome anxiety, build confidence, and improve clinical decision-making skills, especially during their clinicals at Parkland.
