I would like to nominate Dayana for the DAISY Award because of the extraordinary care, clarity, and professionalism she demonstrated during my husband’s stay. What truly set Dayana apart was the way she explained every single medication to my husband was given, not just the name and details, but why it was given to him and its possible side effects. She made sure he understood and patiently answered all our questions. As a family member, I am deeply appreciative of the time she took to listen, respond thoughtfully, and provide comfort in a difficult situation. What impressed me most was how accurate and well-prepared she was. That level of care builds trust, and I trusted her completely. Beyond her clinical excellence, she has a calm and reassuring presence. She empowered me with knowledge and peace of mind. This is something I will always be grateful for.
