When I had my first admission here in Tawam Hospital because of fluid in my lungs, I met Ms. Alison, and she asked me a lot of things regarding my background. At first, I felt that she didn't want to help me because she told me straight away about things that might not help me and could send me back to my country (the Philippines).

Having been alone in this country for 16 years, and as the breadwinner, I am the only one who provides for my family. I didn't accept it and was still hoping that some charities or someone would help my case. When I got admitted again for the second time, she told me, " Round 2."  It made me realize I didn't need to suffer alone.

In my case, I can't work anymore, and Ms. Alison helped me not only with what I needed but, most especially, with thinking positively in every way. She arranged everything, even in our embassy. Now that I'm going back to my country, I know that God used Ms. Alison to make it possible for me to be with my family.

Thank you so much, Ms. Alison, and may God bless you.  I will never forget you, and I will pray for you always.

Thank you, Alison, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
