It is my honor to nominate Nurse Aisha Mansour for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, in appreciation of the exceptional and compassionate care she provided during my son’s treatment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. From the very first moment, Nurse Aisha treated us with great professionalism and genuine warmth. She explained every procedure, every medication, and every change in my son’s condition in a simple and calm manner, which helped me feel reassured and informed during a time filled with anxiety and fear.
She was not only a nurse caring for the medical condition, but also emotionally present—paying close attention to the smallest details of my son’s condition and comforting him with her gentle words and caring tone. Even during the busiest times, I never felt that she was rushing or that I was a burden to her. Aisha exceeded all expectations and dedicated herself to caring for our child with love and skill. I truly believe she embodies the true meaning of the DAISY Award. She is a highly competent nurse with a big heart and was a ray of light for us during very difficult times. We will never forget the impact she had on our journey.
