- Tenured and Non-Tenured Faculty
- Part-Time Faculty
- Instructors
- Preceptors at hospitals
- Nursing Student: pre-licensure/post-licensure
When?
- Frequency of Presentations/ Do you want separate presentations for Educators and students or the same? It's up to you!
- Number of Awards
Where?
You determine the location of presentation to provide greatest visibility for the Honoree.
- Graduation ceremonies
- Honors convocations
- Pinning ceremonies
- Award ceremonies
- In the classroom, surprising the honoree
- Faculty retreats
- Dinners – Faculty, Alumni, Student
- Will it be a surprise?
Why? (why this person?)
- Criteria can be based on mission/vision/values. Remember, compassion is key! (Example in The Resource Center)
How?
- Create a scoring rubric based on criteria with a point system (example in The Resource Center)
