Our DAISY Grant Programs include:

• J. Patrick Barnes Research & Evidence‑Based Practice Grants – These grants support nurses conducting clinical research and evidence‑based practice projects that aim to improve patient outcomes, especially in areas such as auto‑immune diseases and cancer care. They help nurses turn questions from practice into rigorous investigation that can transform care delivery.

• Health Equity Grants – Designed to address the social determinants of health, these grants fund nursing‑led research and evidence‑based practice projects focused on improving health outcomes for disadvantaged and underserved populations.

• Medical Mission Grants – In partnership with AMN Healthcare, these grants help DAISY Honoree nurses cover costs to volunteer on medical missions, bringing compassionate care to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. This support enables nurses to extend their healing hands globally, serving patients who often have little or no access to basic healthcare.

• Healing Hands Conference Grants – Recognizing the importance of continued learning, these grants provide funding for DAISY Honorees to attend professional development conferences of their choice, deepening their skills and knowledge to better serve patients.

• Karlene Kerfoot Nursing Leadership in Technology Education Grants – These education grants support nurse leaders who are driving innovation through technology and forward‑thinking strategies in healthcare, further advancing the profession through leadership and ingenuity.
