I have been a Kaiser patient for quite some time now which has included many visits to the emergency department and/or being admitted to a floor, which can be very overwhelming. This admission was completely different experience for me when I was assigned to Dorota as my RN. She has a very calming way with all the people she comes in contact with but especially her patients. She not only makes sure you are 100% comfortable and at ease, she is there for you not just as an RN but as a friend. She is there for anything you need, any questions you have, any concerns and even those things we don't think to ask for like a warm blanket, an extra pillow, even an outstretched hand. She always has a smile on her face and when anything is asked of her she takes care of it as thoroughly and quickly as possible. I felt very fortunate and safe to have her as part of my healthcare team and Kaiser should be very proud. I feel she's one of the best nurses I have ever had, I would not have wished for a better RN. Thank you, Dorota for making my stay here the best it could be. My family is also very grateful to you for when they could not be here they said as long as you were here they did not have to worry because you promised to take the best care and you did just that.

As the son of a very sick patient, the extra time and effort taken by Dorota to constantly explain and update my father's status has been an incredibly comforting experience. Since doctors are in room infrequently its reassuring to know exactly what is being done real time and she really goes the distance to have us completely understand my father's status. I felt as though her concern was that of a family member.

Dorota is an angel; she is the most compassionate person I met. When I was feeling afraid she was there to help me. My family was unable to come often due to work and they were very worried but as soon as they heard about Dorota they knew I was in good hands. I only really wished I would have had her for my whole stay in the hospital given what I was going through, feeling nervous, sad. Her caring voice calmed me, her loving smile embraced me, the love in her eyes warmed me. Dorota is truly an angel. I know this because when she is near you feel and know that everything will be okay.
