I am a housekeeper in one of the most awesom emergency rooms. Back in april 2010, I was filling a bucket with chemicals when the hose popped off shooting the chemical into the bucket and straight into my face and eyes very fast, I ran for the eye wash station terified, The entire E. D.. team cared for me, from alerting the charge nurse to getting me where i needed to be, regestering me and treating me within minutes and making sure that I got home safe, but if i had to pick just one this time it would have to be Rene' Sampson who came in with care and concern and did all that needed to be done to save my eyesight, without babying me or giving me a moment to think about what had to be done, I felt safe and cared for when I couldn't care for myself, after doing extensive tests on my eyes the specialist that they sent me to said because of the care I got at Swedish there would be no perminent damage, the pink on the cheeks just reminds me that I am blessed to work for such awesome people and a great institution everytime I see a butterfly or see my famly smile I know that we are all safer because of all the nurses like Rene' Sampson at Swedish
