Julie Blonk joined The DAISY Foundation in 2012 and serves as a Program Director. Julie supports partnering facilities through guidance and education for the implementation of their meaningful recognition DAISY Award programs. She also introduces interested facilities in the many benefits of DAISY to determine if our programs will be a good fit for their culture. Previously, Julie served as Program Coordinator at The DAISY Foundation, and brings with her over 25 years of customer service experience. She feels humbled to share a small part in telling the stories of today’s Nurses. Julie graduated from The University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance and lives outside of the Atlanta area with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and volunteering at her church.
