I have worked with Rick for many years now. I have seen the amazing care that Rick provides to every patient and family member. Rick is severely empathetic, caring, gentle, thoughtful, sweet, and cares for the patients and the families as they were his own. He is calm and willing to do whatever he needs to do in order to have the shift run smooth. He goes above and beyond, every single shift and his exemplary nursing care should not go un-noticed but awarded for giving the best care and knowing he is who I would want caring for me if I were ill.

Rick upholds all MaineGeneral Values and Standards 100%. He is very much involved with his team's and patient's needs. He goes beyond what you could expect. He is the best at finding things to bring comfort to each patient such as heating pads or anything else they may need for comfort or pain. He is very creative indeed. He puts a lot of extra care into his patient's needs and desires-and also his co-workers too! Rick is very focused on patient and family goals. He cares a lot.

Rick is a nurse that has worked on rehab for 15 years. They don't make nurses any kinder or more gentle. His patients recognize him for his helpfulness and how he always makes them feel as though he has all of the time in the world to help them. In fact, we know that he is always very busy balancing a full patient assignment with his charge nurse duties. His coworkers recognize him for his helpfulness and willingness to share his years of clinical experience.
